Long before Sylvester Stallone turned boxing into a filmic event, Alfred Hitchcock toyed with the sports medium in this unremarkable melodrama. The story is little more than a love triangle between two boxing champions (Carl Brisson and Ian Hunter) and the woman loved by both (Lillian Hall-Davies).
